Watsonville Fly-In Air Show is one of the premier
flying events in Northern California and provides a
wide array of activities for the entire family with a
wide assortment of aircraft, food booths, aviation
merchandise, fireworks, world-class air show performers
and static displays. Now going into its 40th year, the
Fly-In & Air Show enjoys a reputation of being the best
of its type in the San Francisco Bay Area. |

aviation. The Federal Aviation Act of 1958 created the agency,
under the name Federal Aviation Agency. We adopted our present name
in 1967 when we became a part of the Department of Transportation.

The Watsonville
Pilots Association shares the EAA-WAEC hangar located at 60 Aviation
Way, Watsonville, CA, on the Airport. Meetings are held here on the
last Wednesday of each month, at 7:00 PM, except May and December.

The main mission
of California Pilots Association is to promote and preserve
California's general aviation airports. Without small and medium
sized airports our air transportation system would be crippled and

in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. |

Experimental Aircraft Association, is a growing and diverse
organization of members with a wide range of aviation interests and
backgrounds. EAA was founded in 1953 by a group of individuals in
Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who were interested in building their own
airplanes. Through the decades, the organization expanded its
mission to include antiques, classics, warbirds, aerobatic
aircraft, ultralights, helicopters and contemporary manufactured
aircraft. |

Pajaro Valley
Aviation Academy |
The Pajaro Valley
Aviation Academy is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization located in
Watsonville California. The idea for an aviation scholarship
program sponsored by local businesses, residents, and aviation
groups was conceived by Watsonville Municipal Airport manager Don
French. Through his efforts and nurturing, the idea spouted into an
organization incorporated in the summer of 2000. The directors
represent various aviation groups in the Pajaro Valley, as well as
members from the community-at-large. |

Monterey Bay Ninety-Nines |
The
Ninety-Nines, Inc. is the world's largest and oldest organization of
licensed women pilots. We are a non-profit organization with 6,000
members worldwide organized into Sections and then into area
chapters. Meetings are held in the EAA hangar at the Watsonville
Airport. |

The Southwest
Section Ninety Nines is one of twenty-one sections in the
International Ninety-Nines, Inc. The Southwest section is made up
of the U.S. states of California, Hawaii, Arizona, Nevada, and
Utah. The Southwest Section holds about 25% of the International
Ninety-Nines membership with over 1,500 members and 56 chapters.

(consisting of a Cadet Squadron and Senior Member Squadron) of the
United States Air Force Auxiliary - Civil Air Patrol. Squadron 13
meets in the National Guard Armory located on Watsonville Municipal
Airport - Cadets meet every Tuesday evening, beginning promptly at
6:30 PM and concluding by 9:00 PM; Seniors meet on the first and
third Tuesdays of each month, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM. |
